Importance of Recitation of Quran

Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (R.A),
Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) said,

"One who recites one letter of Quran, will receive one reward in return, and one reward leads to ten rewards. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is one letter, 'Alif' is one letter, 'Laam' is one letter and 'Meem' is one letter."
(Jamia Tirmizi)

This means that It is a source of blessings and rewards from Allah. On the doom's day, when a man will be in need of a single reward, these rewards will be ray of hope for him. Currency for doom's day is good deeds, one will be the owner of piece of land in Jannat according to the quantity of his good deeds.

Hazrat Abu Umama Al-Bahili narrated that Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) was saying,

"Recite Quran as it will be a source of protection on the day of resurrection.
(Muslim & Tirmizi)

Recommendation of Quran has been repeated in many Ahadees. Undoubtedly, Quran will be a source of protection for those who believe Quran, recite it, practise it, and they will be bestowed high position in Heaven.
